He is known for his work with Snarky Puppy, and as a leader of his own ensemble, Larnell Lewis & The Orbit. His compositions often feature complex rhythmic structures and improvisational interplay.

Situated in the city’s west end at 1663 Queen Street West, the venue has a history evolving through several iterations. Originally built in 1922 as a vaudeville theatre named The Revue, it later operated as a cinema under names like The Fox and The Intimate. It transitioned into a live music venue in the 1980s becoming The Diamond Club before eventually adopting its current name, History, in 2017.
