LA Priest, the musical project of Sam Dust, will be performing at The Loft in Atlanta, Georgia on July 25, 2026. Dust’s music is generally categorized as psychedelic pop, blending elements of electronic, dance, and experimental rock. His sound often features layered synthesizers, driving rhythms, and heavily processed vocals, evolving from earlier work under the name Epic Sonics. Recent albums demonstrate a focus on meticulously crafted production and a retro-futuristic aesthetic.

The Loft is an intimate live music venue located in East Atlanta Village. Originally established in 1986 as a performance space for alternative and underground acts, it has maintained a consistent presence within Atlanta’s music scene for nearly four decades. Known for its relatively small capacity – approximately 300 people – The Loft fosters a close connection between artists and audiences. Throughout its history, it has hosted a diverse range of performers spanning genres including indie rock, punk, electronic music and hip-hop; becoming a crucial stepping stone for emerging artists and a consistent draw for established touring acts seeking more personal venues. The venue underwent renovations in 2018 to improve sound and accessibility while retaining its original character.
