Kronos Quartet will perform at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland on April 15, 2027. The quartet is renowned for its innovative approach to string quartet performance, extending beyond traditional classical repertoire to encompass contemporary works, jazz influences, and collaborations with artists across diverse musical genres. Their performances frequently incorporate multimedia elements and explore themes of social justice and cultural exchange. Established in 1973, Kronos Quartet has commissioned over 900 works and fostered a significant expansion of the string quartet’s potential.

Goucher College, founded in 1885 as the Women’s College of Baltimore, transitioned to coeducation in 1986.
