Klazz Brothers are a German musical group known for their distinctive blend of jazz, funk, and traditional Balkan brass band music. The Kupfersaal in Leipzig is a historically significant venue located within the grounds of the University of Leipzig. Originally constructed in 1900 as a ballroom for university events, it underwent extensive renovation following damage during World War II. The hall is noted for its opulent Art Nouveau design, featuring intricate stucco work and copper detailing – hence its name, translating to “Copper Hall”. Today it serves as a prominent location for concerts, conferences, and other cultural events. Its acoustics are considered particularly well-suited for chamber music and jazz performances due to its relatively intimate size and architectural characteristics. The building is listed as a historical monument.
