Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion will perform at Theater Meißen | Große Bühne on December 13, 2026. The ensemble is known for its unique fusion of classical string quartet arrangements with Afro-Cuban percussion. Originating from Germany, the Klazz Brothers initially gained recognition for their classical training before collaborating with Cuban percussionists, resulting in a vibrant and energetic sound blending elements of both cultures. Their music incorporates influences from son, rumba, and other traditional Cuban rhythms alongside classical structures.

Theater Meißen | Große Bühne is the main stage within the Theater Meißen complex. The theater building itself has a history dating back to the 18th century, originally constructed as the first public theatre in Saxony under the direction of Johann Friedrich Schlegel. While undergoing several renovations and modifications over time – including significant work in the 20th and 21st centuries – it maintains architectural features reflective of its historical origins. It primarily hosts opera, operetta, musicals, concerts and theatrical performances. The “Große Bühne” (Large Stage) is equipped for large-scale productions and offers seating for approximately 450 patrons.
