Kiefer, a Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, will be performing at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine on October 17, 2026. Kiefer gained prominence through self-released projects on platforms like Bandcamp before signing with Stones Throw Records. The State Theatre originally opened in 1929 as a vaudeville house and movie palace. Throughout its history, it has hosted a diverse range of performances including concerts, theatrical productions, and film screenings. The venue underwent significant renovations in the 1980s to restore many of its original architectural details, including ornate plasterwork and a grand lobby. It currently operates as a standing-room general admission venue with a capacity of approximately 1,900 people.
