Kian Soltani is an Iranian-German cellist recognized for his deeply expressive and technically assured performances of both standard repertoire and lesser-known works. His playing is often described as possessing a rich tonal palette and a compelling emotional depth, frequently drawing comparisons to the great cellists of the past while maintaining a distinctly individual voice. He is a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the International Pablo Casals Competition.

The concert on April 13, 2027, will take place at the National Polish Radio Concert Hall (Narodowe Centrum Kultury) in Katowice, Poland. Opened in 2014, the hall is a key component of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra’s (NOSPR) headquarters and serves as a modern center for musical performance and broadcasting. Designed by renowned architect Tomasz Konior, its unique architectural features incorporate reclaimed wood from old miners’ shafts, reflecting the region's industrial heritage.

The hall boasts exceptional acoustics specifically engineered for both live performance and high-quality radio broadcasts. It accommodates approximately 1,800 audience members and hosts a diverse range of classical music events, featuring both domestic and international artists.
