Kromhouthal is a former shipbuilding hall located in Amsterdam's North district. Originally part of the NDSM wharf – a historically significant industrial area – it was constructed in 1934 and used for constructing ships until the late 20th century. The NDSM wharf underwent redevelopment in the late 1990s and early 2000s transforming into a cultural hub. Kromhouthal itself has since been repurposed as an event space hosting a variety of events including concerts, exhibitions, festivals, and film screenings.
