Kasbo, the musical project of Swedish producer Ruben Denielsson, will be performing at Historic Scoot Inn in Austin, Texas on September 5th, 2026. His music generally falls within the future bass genre, often characterized by melodic soundscapes, emotive vocal samples, and atmospheric textures. Elements of chillwave and electronic music are frequently incorporated into his productions, creating a sound that is both energetic and introspective. He gained prominence through releases on labels like Monstercat and has collaborated with artists including Said The Sky and Virtual Self.

Historic Scoot Inn holds a significant place in Austin’s cultural history. Originally established in 1871 as a saloon to serve workers building the International-Great Northern Railroad, it is considered Austin's oldest continually operating bar. Throughout its history, the venue transitioned from serving railroad workers to becoming a hub for country music in the mid-20th century, hosting legendary performers like Hank Williams Sr. and Willie Nelson early in their careers. In more recent decades it has diversified its musical offerings to include blues, rock, and electronic music acts while maintaining its rustic charm and historical ambiance.
