June Cavlan will be performing at Birdland Marina on June 29, 2026. Cavlan is a vocalist and composer known for her contemporary jazz style, often incorporating elements of Brazilian music and sophisticated harmonic arrangements. Her work frequently features lyrical improvisation and explores themes of personal narrative and urban life. She has released three critically acclaimed albums to date: “Cityscape” (2018), “Distant Shores” (2021), and “Midnight Bloom” (2024).

Birdland Marina is a relatively new venue situated on the Hudson River, opening in 2023. It’s built on the site formerly occupied by the legendary Birdland jazz club which operated from 1949-1965 at 315 West 44th Street in Manhattan. While not a direct continuation of the original club, Birdland Marina aims to evoke its spirit by hosting established and emerging jazz artists. The venue features both indoor and outdoor performance spaces, with a focus on providing high-quality sound and an intimate atmosphere. Its waterfront location offers views of the New Jersey skyline. The space is designed to accommodate approximately 200 patrons.
