Jun Iida, a Japanese-born, Seattle-based composer and multi-instrumentalist, will perform at the Oxbow on July 18, 2026. His work frequently explores themes of memory, place, and the relationship between natural and artificial environments. The Oxbow is a performance and visual arts space located in Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood. Originally a metal fabrication workshop, it was transformed into an independent arts venue in 1998. The space is characterized by its raw industrial aesthetic – concrete floors, exposed ductwork, and high ceilings – which contributes to its unique atmosphere.
