Salle De L’Horloge is located within the Château de Gramat, a historic castle dating back to the Middle Ages. The hall itself was constructed in the late 1980s as part of renovations undertaken by the then-owner, Jean-Pierre Vigier. It was specifically designed to provide an intimate concert venue with excellent acoustics. The name “Salle De L’Horloge” (Hall of the Clock) derives from a large clock mechanism incorporated into the room’s design – originally part of the chateau's tower – which remains a prominent feature. The space regularly hosts performances of classical music, jazz and traditional Breton music due to its unique atmosphere and acoustic properties.
