Jodymoon, the musical project of Dutch artist Joost van Dijck, will be performing at vanBeresteyn in Veendam, Netherlands on March 5th, 2027. Jodymoon’s music is generally described as indie pop with influences from dream pop and lo-fi aesthetics. Characterized by layered instrumentation, often incorporating synthesizers and atmospheric textures, the soundscapes are frequently introspective and emotionally resonant. Van Dijck’s work often features themes of personal reflection and modern life.

vanBeresteyn is a historic estate located in Veendam, originally built in 1663 by Hindrik Trip, a prominent Groninger nobleman and mayor of Veendam. The building underwent significant renovations in the 19th century resulting in its current neo-classical appearance. For many years it served as a private residence for the Trip family and their descendants.

In more recent history, vanBeresteyn has been repurposed as a cultural center and event venue for the municipality of Veendam. It hosts a variety of events including concerts, exhibitions, weddings and conferences.
