Experience Joanna Eden live on September 17th

Joanna Eden is a British vocalist and pianist known for her jazz-infused music, often incorporating elements of soul, folk, and contemporary improvisation. Her style is characterized by lyrical storytelling, sophisticated harmonies, and a distinctive vocal tone. She released her debut album “Undergrowth” in 2023 to critical acclaim, and has since established herself as a rising figure within the UK jazz scene.

The George Tavern is a historic public house located in Whitechapel, London. Established in the 17th century, it claims to be one of London’s oldest pubs, with documented history reaching back to 1667. The building has undergone several renovations over the centuries but retains much of its original character. It gained notoriety in the 1980s as a focal point for artists and musicians – notably being frequented by members of the Young British Artists movement including Damien Hirst while he was a student at Goldsmiths College. The tavern is known for its intimate performance space which regularly hosts live music events spanning various genres, particularly jazz and alternative acts. It maintains a traditional East End pub atmosphere alongside its artistic associations.
