The Janoska Ensemble will perform at the Wiener Konzerthaus in Vienna, Austria on August 25, 2026. The ensemble is recognized for its innovative approach to classical music, blending elements of classical repertoire with influences from jazz, pop, and world music traditions. The Wiener Konzerthaus opened in 1913 as a privately funded concert hall intended as a complement to the more formal Musikverein. Designed by architect Ludwig Baumann, it was conceived specifically for orchestral and chamber music performances, prioritizing acoustics and intimacy. Unlike the Musikverein’s focus on subscription concerts, the Konzerthaus initially offered a wider range of programming including more contemporary works. Throughout its history, it has hosted performances by many renowned conductors and soloists and remains a significant venue for classical music in Vienna.
