The Janoska Ensemble is scheduled to perform at Esterházy Palace in Eisenstadt, Austria on October 29, 2026. The ensemble is recognized for its innovative approach to classical music, blending elements of classical repertoire with influences from jazz, pop, and world music. Comprised of four highly skilled musicians – two violinists, a violist, and a cellist – they are known for their energetic stage presence and arrangements that often reimagine familiar works. Esterházy Palace, the venue for this concert, holds significant historical and musical importance. Constructed in the 13th century and extensively rebuilt in the Baroque style during the 17th and 18th centuries, it served as the principal residence of the Esterházy family – one of the most influential Hungarian noble families. Notably, composer Joseph Haydn served as *Kapellmeister* (music director) to the Esterházy family from 1761 to 1790, spending a substantial portion of his career at the palace.
