JAMN is a Seattle-based musical group performing a blend of funk, soul, and jazz-influenced instrumental music. Their sound frequently incorporates improvisation and draws inspiration from artists like Medeski Martin & Wood and The Meters. The band features a core lineup centered around guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, often expanding with guest musicians for live performances. They have been actively performing in the Seattle area since 2018, building a local following through appearances at venues such as The Crocodile and Tractor Tavern.

China Harbor Restaurant, located in Seattle’s International District/Chinatown, has a long history as a community gathering place and performance venue. Established in 1948 by the Chinn family, it initially served as a traditional Cantonese restaurant. Over the decades, it became well-known for hosting live jazz and blues music alongside its culinary offerings. The restaurant maintains its original mid-century décor and has become recognized for its historical significance within the city's cultural landscape; it was designated a Seattle landmark in 2016. It continues to operate as a restaurant while occasionally hosting musical events.
