The Festival Tent, known locally as the Zelt Village, is a temporary structure erected annually as a central venue for the Menuhin Festival Gstaad. Established in 1957 by Yehudi Menuhin and William Pleeth, the festival aims to nurture young musical talent and provide a platform for established artists. The tent itself has evolved over the years; currently it’s a large, modern structure accommodating approximately 1800 attendees. It's designed to offer excellent acoustics despite being a temporary space and provides an intimate concert experience compared to traditional concert halls.
