The Palau de la Música in Valencia, Spain, is a modernist concert hall inaugurated in 1932. Designed by architect Francisco Mora Berga, it’s considered one of the most important examples of Valencian Art Deco architecture. The building’s exterior features elaborate sculptural ornamentation and colorful ceramic tiles, while the interior showcases a horseshoe-shaped auditorium with rich detailing and excellent acoustics. Throughout its history, the Palau de la Música has hosted a diverse range of musical performances, including orchestral concerts, opera, ballet, and zarzuela (Spanish lyric-dramatic genre). It underwent significant restoration work between 1999 and 2007 to preserve its architectural integrity and enhance its functionality as a performance venue.
