Milton Court is a concert hall located within the Barbican Centre complex in the City of London. Opened in 2003, it was designed by architects Allies and Morrison as a dedicated space for music education and performance. The hall itself is notable for its flexible acoustic design – adjustable elements allow it to be adapted for various ensemble sizes and musical genres, ranging from solo recitals to chamber orchestras. Prior to the current building, a previous Milton Court existed from 1959-1982 as part of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama; the new venue continues that association, serving as a primary performance space for Guildhall students alongside professional engagements. It holds approximately 608 seats.
