Houston Symphony, a nationally recognized orchestra, performs a broad repertoire encompassing classical masterworks, contemporary compositions, pops selections, and educational programs. Established in 1913, the Symphony has a history of artistic innovation and community engagement within the Houston metropolitan area.

The August 30, 2026 concert will be held at Jones Hall for the Performing Arts in downtown Houston. Originally opened in 1966, Jones Hall was designed by Caudill Rowlett Scott and is notable for its modernist architectural style. It quickly became the primary performance venue for both the Houston Symphony and Houston Grand Opera.

Throughout its history, Jones Hall has undergone several renovations to enhance acoustics and audience comfort. A significant refurbishment completed in 2017 focused on improving sound quality and accessibility features. The hall’s design incorporates a shoebox shape considered optimal for orchestral sound projection, contributing to its reputation as a premier acoustic space. Jones Hall is owned by the City of Houston and managed by the Theater District.
