Horse Lords will be performing at Théâtre Fairmount in Montreal, Quebec on October 2nd, 2026. Horse Lords is a Washington D.C.-based band known for their highly rhythmic and complex instrumental post-punk. Their music frequently incorporates elements of krautrock, free jazz, and polyrhythms, often featuring interlocking guitar lines and unconventional song structures. Formed in 2010, the band has released several albums on Northern Spy Records and consistently tours internationally.

Théâtre Fairmount is a historic venue located in the Mile End neighborhood of Montreal. Originally constructed as a cinema in 1928, designed by architect Hector Lapointe, it operated as Cinema Fairmount for many decades showcasing films. In 1989 it was converted into a performance space dedicated to live music and theatre, becoming a significant hub for independent and alternative arts within the city. The venue is known for its intimate atmosphere and relatively small capacity – approximately 250 people – fostering close connections between performers and audiences. It continues to host a diverse range of local and touring artists across multiple genres. The building maintains much of its original Art Deco architectural detailing.
