Horse Lords will perform at The Getty Center in Los Angeles on July 25, 2026. The band is a Washington D.C.-based ensemble known for their unique approach to post-punk and experimental rock. Their music frequently incorporates polyrhythmic structures, angular guitar work, and spoken-word elements, drawing comparisons to bands like Can and early Talking Heads while maintaining a distinctly modern sound. Formed in 2010, Horse Lords have released several critically acclaimed albums on labels such as Northern Spy Records and Exploding in Sound Records.

The Getty Center, where the concert will take place, opened to the public in 1997. Designed by architect Richard Meier, it serves as one of two locations of the J. Paul Getty Trust. The complex houses the Getty Museum’s collections – spanning European paintings, drawings, sculpture, illuminated manuscripts, decorative arts, and photography – alongside research institute offices and the Getty Conservation Institute. Beyond its art holdings, The Getty is notable for its architectural design and extensive gardens offering panoramic views of Los Angeles. Concerts are occasionally hosted within the central courtyard or other designated spaces within the complex, leveraging its unique setting for cultural events.
