Hiatus Kaiyote will perform at The Tivoli in Brisbane, Australia on July 10, 2026. The Australian band is known for its distinctive blend of neo-soul, jazz, funk and experimental music, often characterized by complex arrangements, unconventional time signatures, and Nai Palm’s unique vocal style. Formed in Melbourne in 2011, Hiatus Kaiyote gained international recognition with their critically acclaimed debut album *Tawk Tomahawk* (2012) and subsequent releases *Choose Your Weapon* (2015) and *Mood Valiant* (2021).

The Tivoli, located on Fortitude Valley’s Fortitude Valley Road, is a historic theatre originally built as a vaudeville house in 1919. It underwent significant renovations and reopened as a live music venue in the late 1980s. The building retains many of its original architectural features including ornate plasterwork and a proscenium arch. Over the years it has hosted a diverse range of national and international artists across various genres.
