Hiatus Kaiyote, the Australian future soul band, will be performing at Auckland Town Hall on September 4th, 2026. The group is known for its complex, jazz-influenced arrangements, incorporating elements of neo-soul, funk, and experimental electronic music. Their sound is characterized by intricate rhythms, Nai Palm’s distinctive vocals and guitar work, and a collaborative approach to songwriting. Hiatus Kaiyote gained international recognition with their 2012 debut album *Treading Water*, and have since released critically acclaimed albums including *Choose Your Weapon* (2015) and *Mood Valiant* (2021).

Auckland Town Hall is a significant heritage building in central Auckland, New Zealand. Completed in 1911, it was designed by architects Parr, Kummer & Verrall in the Edwardian Baroque style. Originally intended as a municipal building housing council chambers alongside performance spaces, it has primarily functioned as a venue for concerts, theatrical productions, and civic events throughout its history.
