Heavensgate is a British musical collective creating a sound often described as a fusion of drum and bass, breakbeat hardcore, and jungle influences, frequently incorporating vocal samples and atmospheric textures. Emerging in the early 2020s, they’ve gained recognition for their energetic live performances and distinctive production style which draws heavily from older rave and electronic music traditions while maintaining a contemporary edge.

Manchester Academy 2 is a medium-sized venue within the University of Manchester Students' Union. Originally opened in 1991 as a replacement for the original Academy venue, it has become a prominent fixture on the UK touring circuit for both established and emerging artists.
