Haken, a British progressive metal band formed in 2007, will be performing at Simm City in Vienna, Austria on October 1st, 2026. The band is known for its complex compositions, incorporating elements of jazz fusion, progressive rock, and djent. Their music features intricate instrumental passages, dynamic shifts in tempo and mood, and often explores conceptual themes across their albums. Haken currently consists of Ross Jennings (vocals), Charlie Griffiths (guitar), Tom Hackett (guitar), Richard Henshall (keyboards/guitar), Nathaniel Campesino (bass), and Raymond Hearne (drums). They have released six studio albums to date – *Hare*, *Dust*, *The Mountain*, *Vector*, *Virus*, and *Fauna*.

Simm City is a well-established live music venue located in the 20th district of Vienna, known as Favoriten. Originally opening in 1998 as a smaller club focused on alternative music styles, it has expanded over the years to accommodate a wider range of genres including rock, metal, punk and electronic music.
