Haken, a British progressive metal band formed in 2007, will be performing at Backstage Werk in Munich, Germany on September 28, 2026. The band is known for its complex compositions, blending elements of progressive rock, jazz fusion, and djent. Their sound often features intricate instrumental passages, dynamic shifts in tempo and mood, and soaring vocal harmonies. Haken has released six studio albums to date – *Hare*, *Dust*, *The Mountain*, *Vector*, *Fauna* and *Affinity* – receiving critical acclaim within the progressive metal community for their musicianship and songwriting.

Backstage Werk is a well-established concert venue located in the industrial area of Westend in Munich. Originally opening in 1997, it’s recognized as one of Germany’s leading mid-sized live music locations, hosting a diverse range of international artists across various genres including rock, metal, indie and electronic music. The venue consists of two halls: the main hall (“Backstage Halle”) with a capacity of approximately 1800 people and a smaller club space (“Backstage Club”) offering a more intimate setting.
