Gregoire Maret is a Swiss-born, New York-based harmonica player and composer known for his distinctive blend of jazz, blues, and world music influences. Opened in 2009, it was designed by Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg Architects specifically to optimize sound quality for both performers and audiences. The hall’s design incorporates a shoebox shape – traditionally favoured for concert halls – and features maple flooring and adjustable acoustic banners to fine-tune the sonic environment.
