Experience Grateful Shred live on November 5th
Grateful Shred is a musical project interpreting the songbook of the Grateful Dead through a distinctly instrumental, high-energy lens. The group features members of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, TAUK, and Dopapod, blending improvisational rock, electronic elements, and jazz fusion techniques with the foundational melodies of the Grateful Dead’s repertoire. Their performances emphasize extended jams and dynamic interplay between musicians.
Stable Hall in San Antonio, Texas, originally opened in 1906 as a livery stable – hence the name – serving the city’s transportation needs during a period of significant growth. Over time, it transitioned through various uses including an auto repair shop and warehouse space before being reimagined as a live music venue.
The venue maintains much of its original architectural character, featuring exposed brick walls and a rustic aesthetic. It has become known for hosting a diverse range of musical acts, particularly those within the jam band, indie rock, and alternative music scenes. Stable Hall's capacity is approximately 600-800 people depending on event configuration. It is recognized as an important component of San Antonio’s evolving music landscape and actively contributes to the city's cultural offerings.
