Grateful Shred performs instrumental rock interpretations of the music of the Grateful Dead. The band features a rotating cast of musicians known for their work in various Austin-based projects.

Historic Scoot Inn is a long-standing music venue in Austin, Texas, with a history dating back to 1871. Originally constructed as a German immigrant worker’s residence and saloon, it operated continuously as a bar from 1871 until Prohibition. Following Prohibition, it reopened as a honky-tonk and has since hosted numerous country, blues, and rock acts over the decades. The venue is known for its intimate setting, wooden floors, and historical significance within Austin’s live music scene. It underwent renovations in recent years but maintains much of its original character. It's considered one of Austin’s oldest continually operating businesses and a key location in the city's musical heritage. The venue is located on South Congress Avenue.
