Gov’t Mule is scheduled to perform at Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land on October 13, 2026. The band is known for a blues-rock based sound, heavily influenced by improvisation and incorporating elements of Southern rock, psychedelic rock, and jazz. Formed in 1994 by Warren Haynes (The Allman Brothers Band) and Allen Woody, Gov’t Mule has released numerous studio and live albums, consistently touring and building a reputation for energetic performances. Their music often features extended instrumental jams and showcases Haynes’ distinctive guitar playing and soulful vocals.

Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land opened in 2016 as a publicly-private partnership between the City of Sugar Land and the Cordish Companies. The venue is an indoor multipurpose arena designed to host concerts, sporting events, family shows, and other entertainment events. It has a seating capacity of approximately 6,500 for concerts and 6,200 for hockey games. The center features state-of-the-art audio and video systems along with premium seating options. It's located within the University Boulevard District which aims to be a regional destination for dining, shopping and entertainment.
