Experience Gov't Mule live on August 4th

Gov’t Mule is scheduled to perform at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park in Morgantown, West Virginia on August 4, 2026. The band is known for its blend of rock, blues, and jam band influences, frequently incorporating extended improvisational sections into their performances. Formed in 1994 by guitarist Warren Haynes, also of The Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule has released numerous studio and live albums throughout its career, establishing a dedicated following. Their sound is characterized by Haynes’ distinctive slide guitar work and the band's powerful rhythm section.

Hazel Ruby McQuain Park is a prominent outdoor venue situated along the Monongahela River in downtown Morgantown. Originally developed as part of a larger riverfront revitalization project initiated in the 1990s, the park officially opened in 2012 and was subsequently named in honor of Hazel Ruby McQuain, a local philanthropist who contributed significantly to its funding. The park hosts a variety of events throughout the year including concerts, festivals and community gatherings. It features a large open green space capable of accommodating substantial crowds, alongside walking paths and river access. The venue has become a focal point for entertainment within the city and surrounding region.
