Gorod, a technical death metal band originating from France, will be performing at Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, United Kingdom on September 9th, 2026. Formed in 2000, Gorod has released several studio albums throughout their career, gaining recognition within the extreme metal scene for their instrumental proficiency and unconventional rhythmic approaches.

Rescue Rooms is a long-standing independent venue located in the city centre of Nottingham. Originally established as a boxing gym in the 1930s, it was converted into a music venue and nightclub in the late 1990s. The venue is divided into two primary spaces: a larger main room capable of holding approximately 450 attendees and a smaller second stage/bar area. Rescue Rooms regularly hosts a diverse range of musical acts spanning various genres, including rock, indie, electronic and metal. It’s known for its intimate atmosphere and has played host to numerous established and emerging artists over the years. The building itself maintains some of its original architectural features reflecting its history.
