Sidney & Matilda is an independent live music venue located in Kelham Island, Sheffield. Originally a cutlery works dating back to the 1840s, the building underwent significant renovation to become a performance space in 2014. It's characterized by its intimate setting – holding approximately 130 people – and commitment to showcasing diverse emerging and established artists across various genres, with a particular focus on alternative and experimental music. The venue retains much of its industrial heritage in its aesthetic, contributing to its unique atmosphere. It’s become a notable fixture within Sheffield’s vibrant music scene, frequently hosting both local and touring acts.
