Golnar & Mahan are a Persian classical and contemporary music duo known for their innovative interpretations of traditional Iranian repertoire alongside original compositions. Their style blends the virtuosic playing of the *tar* (a long-necked fretted lute) and *setar* (a smaller, shorter-necked lute) with influences from jazz, minimalism, and world music. Golnar Khosrowshahi plays the *tar*, while Mahan Mirarab plays the *setar*; both are accomplished musicians with backgrounds in classical Persian music training.

Oper Frankfurt is a renowned opera house with a history dating back to 1880.
