Schlachthof Wiesbaden - Halle is a venue located in Wiesbaden, Germany, historically a slaughterhouse (“Schlachthof” translates to “slaughterhouse”). Originally constructed in the early 20th century, the building was repurposed in the 1980s into a cultural center and concert hall. It’s known for its raw, industrial aesthetic and has become a significant location for alternative music performances, particularly those falling under genres like punk, hardcore, metal, electronic music and related subcultures. The Halle space within Schlachthof Wiesbaden is the larger of the two main performance areas.
