Glen Phillips will perform at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, New Jersey on October 21, 2026. Phillips is best known as the lead vocalist and songwriter for the alternative folk-rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket, achieving prominence in the 1990s with hits like “All I Want” and “Walk on the Ocean.” His solo work expands upon this foundation, often incorporating elements of Americana, indie folk, and introspective lyrical themes. He frequently tours performing both solo acoustic sets and with a band, showcasing material from his extensive discography including albums like *Painted Pony* and *Something More*.
The Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) opened in 1994 following a restoration of the historic Morristown Community Theatre, originally built in 1937. The theatre underwent significant renovations to transform it into a modern performing arts venue while retaining much of its original Art Deco architecture. MPAC hosts a diverse range of performances annually including concerts, Broadway shows, comedy acts, dance performances and films. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community through the arts and serves as a cultural hub for Morris County and surrounding areas.
