GBSR Duo presents a concert at Kings Place, London on September 26, 2026. The duo – comprised of guitarist Giacomo Fiore and bassist/composer Silvia Bolognesi – explores a distinctive musical landscape blending elements of contemporary improvised music, jazz, and extended techniques on their instruments. Their compositions often feature intricate interplay, textural exploration, and a dynamic range moving between delicate soundscapes and powerfully energetic passages. They are known for incorporating prepared guitar and effects pedals into their performances, creating unique sonic palettes.

Kings Place is a concert hall and art centre located in the Regent’s Canal area of King’s Cross, London. Opened in 2008, it was developed from the former headquarters of British Rail’s newspaper distribution network. The venue houses two main performance spaces: Hall One, renowned for its acoustics and primarily used for classical music, jazz and world music performances; and Hall Two, a more flexible space suited to smaller-scale concerts, talks and exhibitions. Kings Place is recognised for its commitment to artistic diversity and its support of both established and emerging artists. The building also includes offices, restaurants and residential apartments. It has become a significant cultural hub within the London borough of Camden.
