Rock Concerts in San Francisco

Experience Galactic live on October 30th

Galactic is scheduled to perform at The Fillmore in San Francisco, California on October 30, 2026. The band is known for its instrumental fusion of funk, jazz, blues, and jam band elements, often incorporating New Orleans rhythms and improvisation. Formed in New Orleans in 1995, Galactic has released numerous studio albums and built a reputation for energetic live performances. Their sound frequently features prominent horn sections and a strong rhythmic foundation.

The Fillmore is a historic music venue located at 1805 Geary Boulevard in the Richmond District of San Francisco. Originally opened in 1965 by Bill Graham, it quickly became a central location for the burgeoning counterculture movement and hosted pivotal performances during the “Summer of Love” and beyond. Graham was renowned for his meticulous attention to sound and lighting, establishing standards still valued today.

Following periods of closure and renovation, The Fillmore reopened under new ownership in 2007 while maintaining its historical character. It’s recognized as one of the most important rock venues in the United States, consistently hosting both established artists and emerging talent across various genres. The building itself is designated a San Francisco Historic Landmark.
