Franz von Chossy, a contemporary German composer, will present a concert at the Chassé Theater in Breda, Netherlands on October 8, 2026. The Chassé Theater itself opened in 2009, replacing the former Stadsschouwburg Breda which was demolished. It functions as a multifaceted cultural center hosting a diverse program including theater performances, musicals, dance productions, concerts and conferences. Designed by Mecanoo architecten, the building is notable for its distinctive red-colored facade and its integration into the historical city center of Breda. The theater boasts several performance spaces; the main hall – where von Chossy will perform – has a capacity of approximately 960 seats and is equipped with advanced technical facilities to accommodate large-scale productions.
