Fjarill is a musical project centered around the German artist Jan-Niklas Jansen, creating atmospheric black metal often incorporating elements of post-rock and ambient soundscapes. Töverhuus is a venue located in Klein Nordende, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Originally a traditional farmhouse (“Kate” in Plattdeutsch), it was extensively renovated and repurposed as a cultural space beginning in the early 2000s. It has become known for hosting primarily niche music events focusing on genres like dark ambient, post-industrial, experimental electronic music, and various forms of metal – particularly those with an atmospheric or avant-garde leaning.

The building itself retains much of its original rural character, contributing to an intimate and unique concert experience. Töverhuus deliberately maintains a focus on creating a specific atmosphere conducive to the artists performing and the audience’s immersion within the music.
