Environmental Encroachment is scheduled to perform at Fitzgerald’s Nightclub in Berwyn, Illinois on August 15, 2026. The band performs a blend of post-hardcore and math rock, characterized by complex rhythmic structures, dissonant guitar work, and emotionally driven vocals. They have released two full-length albums to date, “Static Bloom” (2022) and “Fractured Terrain” (2024), both receiving critical acclaim within underground music circles.

Fitzgerald’s Nightclub has been a significant venue in the Chicago metropolitan area’s music scene since its founding in 1991. Originally established as a primarily blues bar, it quickly expanded to encompass a diverse range of genres including rock, alternative, hip-hop, and Americana. The venue is known for its intimate setting and high-quality sound system. It has hosted numerous nationally touring acts alongside showcasing local and regional talent throughout its history. Fitzgerald's underwent renovations in 2018 which increased capacity while maintaining its focus on live music presentation.
