Emilio Solla, an Argentine pianist and composer, will perform at Blues Alley on September 24, 2026. Blues Alley, located in Georgetown, Washington D.C., is one of the oldest continuously operating jazz supper clubs in the United States. Established in 1965, it has hosted numerous prominent jazz and blues musicians throughout its history including Ella Fitzgerald, Dave Brubeck, and Charlie Byrd. The venue is characterized by its intimate setting – seating approximately 140 people – and its basement-level location which contributes to its distinctive atmosphere. It's known for presenting artists in a close-up environment that fosters a direct connection between performer and audience. The club maintains a focus on acoustic performances and generally avoids amplification beyond what’s necessary for vocals or instruments.
