Benjamin Franklin Hall is a historic concert venue located within the Masonic Temple in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed in 1904, the Temple itself is a significant example of Beaux-Arts architecture and was designed by Joseph Miller. Benjamin Franklin Hall, one of seven ornate halls within the complex, is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and lavish interior decoration. The hall features intricate plasterwork, gilded detailing, and a grand organ originally installed in 1908 by the Austin Organ Company. Throughout its history, it has hosted a wide range of performances including orchestral concerts, choral events, and lectures; it remains an active performance space used for various cultural events. The hall's capacity is approximately 1600 people.
