Elias Meister will perform at Dada, a venue located in Queens, New York City, on June 24, 2026. Meister’s musical style blends elements of ambient, experimental electronic music and jazz improvisation. Dada initially opened in 1978 as a performance space dedicated to new wave and punk rock, quickly becoming a significant hub for the burgeoning New York City hardcore scene. Throughout the 1980s it hosted numerous influential bands across these genres. The original location closed in 1985 but was revived in 2023 under new ownership at a different location within Queens – specifically in Astoria. The current iteration aims to recapture the spirit of the original while showcasing a diverse range of contemporary music including electronic, experimental and independent artists. The venue maintains an intimate setting focused on fostering emerging talent and providing a platform for innovative performances. It operates as both a concert space and bar.
