Electric Circus, a musical project originating from Italy, blends elements of psychedelic rock, electronic music, and funk, often incorporating improvisation and extended instrumental passages. The group is known for its energetic live performances and a sound that draws comparisons to bands like Can and early Pink Floyd, while maintaining a distinctly Italian flavour. They have been active since the early 2000s, releasing several albums and touring extensively throughout Europe.

The concert is scheduled to take place at Serre Dei Giardini Margherita in Bologna on June 25th, 2026. These greenhouses – literally “The Greenhouses of Margherita Gardens” – are a historical structure within the larger Parco dei Giardini Margherita, Bologna’s largest public park. Originally constructed in 1934-1935 under the direction of architect Cesare Costa, the *Serre* were initially designed to house exotic plants and serve as a botanical garden for educational purposes.

Over time, they fell into disrepair but underwent significant restoration completed in 2023.
