Destroyer, the musical project led by Dan Bejar, will perform at Locomotiv Club in Bologna, Italy on September 21, 2026. Destroyer’s music is often described as art rock, incorporating elements of baroque pop, new wave, and lounge music. Bejar’s songwriting is characterized by complex lyrical arrangements, a distinctive vocal delivery, and sophisticated instrumentation. The project has released numerous albums to critical acclaim since its formation in Vancouver, Canada in 1996, evolving through various stylistic phases while maintaining a consistent artistic vision.

Locomotiv Club is a well-established live music venue located in the Bologna's industrial district. Originally founded in 1996 within a former railway repair workshop – hence the name “Locomotiv” – it quickly became a significant hub for alternative and independent music in Italy. The club is known for its intimate atmosphere and focus on showcasing both established international acts and emerging local artists across diverse genres including rock, jazz, electronic and experimental music. It regularly hosts concerts and club nights and has a capacity of approximately 800 people. The venue underwent renovations in 2018 to improve acoustics and accessibility.
