The Dutch Swing College Band is scheduled to perform at KKL Luzern – Konzertsaal in Lucerne, Switzerland on September 27, 2026. The band is renowned for its traditional New Orleans jazz style, characterized by collective improvisation, a strong rhythmic drive, and instrumentation typically including clarinet, trombone, trumpet, banjo, piano, double bass or tuba, and drums. Formed in 1945, they have maintained a consistent presence in the traditional jazz scene for over seven decades, known for their energetic performances and adherence to the early jazz idiom.

KKL Luzern – Konzertsaal (Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne) opened in 2000 and is a significant architectural landmark designed by Jean Nouvel. The Konzertsaal itself is celebrated for its exceptional acoustics; its design incorporates a complex wooden structure intended to optimize sound reflection and clarity. It's considered one of the most acoustically advanced concert halls in the world. The hall regularly hosts performances by internationally acclaimed orchestras and soloists spanning classical music genres.
