Dust, a musical project spearheaded by Alfie Steele-Bowes, will be performing at The Espy in St Kilda, Australia on July 24th, 2026. Dust’s music is generally described as psychedelic rock, incorporating elements of garage rock and neo-psychedelia. Steele-Bowes’ work often features layered instrumentation, reverb-drenched vocals and a focus on atmospheric soundscapes. Previous releases have been noted for their exploration of themes relating to memory and place.

The Espy (Hotel Esplanade) is a historically significant venue located on the St Kilda foreshore in Melbourne. Originally built in 1879, it has operated continuously as a hotel since its inception, becoming a prominent fixture in Melbourne’s cultural landscape. Throughout its history, The Espy has hosted a diverse range of musical acts across multiple stages – the Gershwin Room, the Front Bar and the Basement – becoming well known for showcasing both established and emerging Australian artists.

Significant renovations were completed in 2019 restoring many of the building's original features while updating facilities.
